Join Rochester Spiritualist Society members in a safe environment to learn or improve mediumship skills. We will explore ideas and techniques to help participants learn how to give evidential messages from spirit and share ideas with each other. Beginners and experienced mediums are welcome.
Attending the Development Group is free, love donations are accepted.

This is a warm, welcoming Spiritualist circle dedicated to exploring and developing the gifts of mediumship. Together, we’ll learn techniques, share insights, and support one another as we strengthen our connection with spirit and grow in our practice.

An Evening With Spirit

Spend an evening with the Psychic Mediums of the Rochester Spiritualist Society as they bring through messages from loved ones in Spirit at The Union Tavern.
TICKETS GO ON SALE WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23!
Our team of 2 to 3 Psychic Mediums will provide personal readings, with each attendee receiving approximately 15 minutes to connect and receive a message.
How can you prepare?
Before the event, take a little time to think about your loved ones in Spirit and your spirit guides, and invite them to bring you a loving, meaningful message. Come with an open heart and mind and see what unfolds. While a spirit connection can never be guaranteed, those who attend our events have been very pleased with the meaningful and uplifting messages they've received.
Appointment times are assigned as reservations are received, so be sure to get your tickets when they become available!
Whether you're already familiar with Spiritualism or simply curious about what an evening with Spirit might bring, everyone is welcome.
Come join us for an evening of connection, inspiration, and perhaps a message from someone you love.

The Rochester Spiritualist Society is excited to announce our annual Día de los Muertos Celebration on Saturday, November 7th, 2026!
Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a beautiful tradition of gathering with family and friends to honor and celebrate loved ones who have passed on. In a way that beautifully reflects Spiritualist teachings, our loved ones in Spirit are not simply remembered; they are still with us, and their presence continues to be celebrated with love, joy, and connection.
Join us this November as we come together to celebrate the continued closeness of those we love in Spirit, surrounded by flowers, candles, music, and remembrance.
